July Prime Days
I know... I am so bad at posting consistently, my bestie and I actually have a plan to get together to make some blog posts together and keep each other more consistent. Hopefully we will get on it this fall when the kids all go back to school! For today, however, I am so excited to share some amazing deals for Prime Days! I already placed two orders, not only is my oldest turning 18 this month, but she is also starting her Senior year. *Cue mixed emotions mommy* She decided she wanted a big dance party in our basement, that's not super big, for her birthday, so I was happy for some great deals to get decorations that will double up for birthday party as well as graduation party! My husband has been telling me for a few years that we needed a good speaker to have movie nights outside because my laptop speaker just isn't cutting it, the reviews for this speaker was good, so I jumped on it with the sale. I know there are a ton of updated versions of the Echo Show, I am not a person who much have the "newest release" of anything, I do like things that are tried and true. I have been eyeing the Echo Show 8 for a few years, it's not super large to have out on the counter, (I don't like having clutter on my counters), the speakers are good for the size, and most importantly the camera has a shutter closer. {Until I upgraded my laptop, I used a sticky note to make sure to cover my camera, this laptop also has a shutter closer, privacy is a good thing.} We enjoy entertaining and I have a detailed schedule I keep on my google calendar, this gadget will help us stay entertained with music but also be able to show my calendar instead of just having Alexa tell me the plans for the day.

I went back and forth on if I wanted this, and when I noticed it on sale I went for it. We love dips in my family and when I entertain, we usually have queso, guacamole and an easy bean dip I make that my oldest loves. I have one small dip slow cooker that I received free with my large slow cooker, but it runs very hot and ends up burning the queso by the middle of the party. I had been looking for something that had temp controllers to try and help with that and ran across this. I like that it's dual so both the queso and bean dip can remain warm.

One thing that drives me nuts when I entertain and not having matching serving pieces. They don't have to match completely, but I have some wooden, some white and some random colored pieces and I am over it. I would like to eventually have all white and dark wood, so I did jump to throw these in my cart... One step closer to having good looking serving dishes!

Before you laugh, I have heard good things about these! They keep bugs away from food and a group I am in to get graduation party ideas from had a ton of mom's swearing by these.
